We are anticipating an attendance even larger then 2008′s festival so get your booth reserved ASAP, vendors will be chosen in order of applications received.

If you are an artist or craft vendor please go to our artists page to apply to become an arts and craft vendor.

All vendors must follow the following rules:

1. Setup will be Thursdayseptember 30, 8 am until 6 pm .  The festival will open at 8 am Friday morning.  Booths must be ready for business at that time.
2. Someone must be in attendance at each exhibit at all times during show hours.  Hours are 8 am until 9 pm Friday and 8 am until 6 pm on Saturday.
3. Preferred craft items are rustic handmade items.  No used or garage sale type items or dollar store type items will be considered.  True antiques/collectables will be considered.
4. Booth space rent (see enclosure)
5. Exhibitors will be responsible for their own display items and materials.  The exhibitor is responsible for the appearance of the space during and at the close of the show.  No trash is to be left at your booth site.
6. Acceptance constitutes a contract to use the space assigned by the festival personal and they retain the right to change spaces.
7. Prices must be clearly marked on items.
8. If you bring a pet it must be leashed at all times.

Driving Directions

Talihina can be found traveling north or south from U.S. Highway 259. Travel west from Big Cedar, Oklahoma off of U.S. Highway 259 – 27 miles until you reach U.S. Highway 271 and you will be in Talihina, Oklahoma.

Travel south on U.S. Highway 271 from Poteau, Oklahoma and you will drive into the town of Talihina. Travel south on State Highway 2 from Wilburton, Oklahoma, at Buffalo Valley turn east on State Highway 1 until you reach Talihina. Travel south on State Highway 1 from McAlester, Oklahoma. Travel north on State Highway 2 from Antlers, Oklahoma.

Travel south four miles on U.S. Highway 271, as the highway bends to the west, turn on the Honobia/Bethel Highway also known as “Indian Trail” or 440th Ave. Stay on this road over the most northern ridge of the Kiamichi Mountains until you reach Honobia, America on Oklahoma’s Bigfoot Mountain.

What should I bring?

Don’t forget to stop on your way at Talihina and get supplies and anything else you need for the festival. Talihina (74571) is located just 22 miles before the Festival grounds and has everything from Grocery stores to Gas stations and pharmacies. Visit our “What Will I Need Page”.

Our mountain is rich with plant life enabling a diverse population of wild life including Bigfoot. We boast one of the most sightings of Bigfoot on the American continent and we are excited to share him with you!

You can view our map of the area on our site, but we would like to tell you what is available in the area.

The Honobia Creek Store, and cafe has a full Grill Menu, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have Cabins and RV Park rentals located across the road from the festival. Their Friday Night Fish begins at 4pm-8pm

Talihina, Oklahoma is only 22 miles North of Honobia on U.S. Highway 271.

Rockin H is a convenience store located just south of town on Hwy 271 has gas, deli that serves breakfast, picnic supplies, and an ATM Machine.

Kimball’s Super Foods is a grocery store with a complete line of food and picnic items. The deli also includes Simple Simon’s Pizza and an ATM Machine.

Talihina Branch Bank offers full banking and an ATM Machine that is accessible 24 hours a day.

Community State Bank offers full banking and an ATM Machine that is accessible 24 hours a day.

Alco is a department store for all your needs

Area Restaurants include Outlaw BBQ (open Thursday – Saturday), Subway,Pam’s Diner, El Rancho, Betty Gail’s, Treats & Treasure and Red Arrow.

There are a variety of stores such as hardware stores other gift shops, florists, boot store, motels, cottages and Bed and Breakfasts as well.
There will be food vendors at the Bigfoot Festival and Conference, and RV Camping on the grounds.

We encourage you to enter your best works in this 2011 Big Foot Art Show. All mediums will be accepted.  Artist Shirley Coleman will be hosting this years Art Show. Shirley has been depicting the Kiamichi area in her artwork for several years.  She truly has an eye for catching the beauty and mystery of the forest hanging on the steep terrain of the mountains.

Each year the Art Show has grown and the artists have come from different locales showing their favorites. Not only do you have the ability to win in the Art Show, you have the ability to sell your art pieces to so many Festival & Conference attendees.  Don’t miss this opportunity to decorate someone’s office or home with your art pieces.  This is also a perfect time of the year to entice the early Holiday Shoppers to satisfy their gift list.
