Conference Speakers

Every year the list of speakers proves to be more exciting than last year.  This year is already proving that point.  The new list of speakers will soon be posted with information about them. Be sure and check this web site frequently in June.

Campfire Story Telling

Last  year the Big Foot Campfire Story Telling  was well attended, and was one of the “favorites” at the Festival.  This year the Camp Fire Story Telling will be under the direction of Glenn Hyder Friday Night, September 30, 2011 beginning   at 7 pm until 9 pm. These stories will be from people who actually experienced a Big Foot sighting. Other stories are relayed from someone who knows a person who had a Big Foot Experience.  As the story tellers proceed with their tales, the campfire cast a warm glow over everyone there  and for a few moments you’re in the story tellers  setting, experiencing some of the same emotions he/she experienced.  Bring your lawn chair and enjoy this event. If you would like to tell your story please call 918 567-3434 or  email  chamber@talihinacc.com.This event is free to the public.

Art Show

The Art Show will also be in a climate controlled building. All mediums of art are invited to participate. Please go to the ‘artist’s’ tab and contact chamber@talihinacc.com  if you would like to show your art.

The Big Foot Festival and Entertainment

The  Festival midway will be lined with  great selections of food booths featuring “fair food staples” and “unique” and “delicious” items for you to enjoy.  The food vendor who originated the “Big Foot Funnel Cake” will be in attendance.  If you haven’t tried one be sure and look them up—one taste and you’re hooked.

Arts, crafts and specialty goods are available from our many vendors and walking among our shops and food booths is a fun activity in itself!

Once again Windwalker Sound will be providing the Festival Sound that assures that every entertainer will be clearly heard, not only around the stage but across the grounds and to the heights of the mountains, in a manner that would  cause  even Big Foot to want to “Boogie on Down”.   With over 20 entertainers all ages, playing , singing, and acting, you will be entertained.  Friday at noon there will be quite a show down. Plan your lunch around the “Oakie Uncles at High Noon” under the steel tent.

The Last Year’s Big Foot Music Idol, Tyler Mae, will be here to preform before the Big Foot Idol Contest begins on Friday afternoon.  For more information and entry forms on the Big Foot Music Idol contest click here.

“Logan Williams’  T&O Express”, the original Big Foot Boogie Band will be here to preform their original Big Foot Music  which include, “Big Foot Mountain”  “Chevrolet Bash” and “I Don’t Know What This Is”.  There will be an autograph signing after the performance.
